Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that delivers its results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the information contained in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may create normal logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Data
Limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvement. We do not sell lists of visitors or build an individual visitor profile.
External Services
Links lead to Hall County, Nebraska, library, archive, and third-party search services. Their policies control information submitted on their pages, including information sent through sponsored search results.
Service Providers and Legal Requests
Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and not for unrelated purposes.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Since there are no user accounts, the directory does not maintain user passwords or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor provided information so it can be removed.
Privacy Requests
Depending on residence, a visitor may have rights to seek access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service holds. Nebraska's Data Privacy Act begins at Neb. Rev. Stat. ยงยง87-1101 through 87-1130. Because Grand Island Residents Directory holds little visitor data, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or logs. Use the Contact page. Records held by a Hall County, Grand Island, or Nebraska custodian must be addressed to that custodian.
